1950s Era Sailors at St Peters Basilica On Ship Photos

This is a collection of 15photos from the 1950s showing sailors on leave and at play on the ship.
This lot features views of the St Moses statue in St peters Basilica. Sailors looking at St Pauls Basilica Two Sailors in the galley. One Large Image of Ship in the Gulf in France A View of Sailors entering the Vatican Museum – St Peters Square and two photos of mass being celebrated onboard the Leyte. St Peters Square and more.

These photos vary in Size from one smaller image ( with tears) measuring 5×7 to most being 7×9 or 8×10 inches with the largest measuring 13.5 inches by 19 inches. These images have some surface scratches and the largest image has some chipping along the edges and fiber bends. All images are still attached to pages some are taped and some are mounted… I had the temptation to remove them, but i’ll leave that to the professionals.

None in this lot are dated, but others have dates noted under the pictures 1951 and 1952 .

The are large format and will require box. We will be able to combine lots to save on shipping.
