Comments from an ebayer… “Actually, I have information regarding your book that I thought you might like to know. I have an original Frank Leslie hardcover book from 1894 titled Famous Leaders and Scenes of the Civil War. It is a large book about an inch thick and 12 x 17 inches. The title page inside says Illustrated History of the Civil War. Currently on eBay, there is an 1895 book by Frank Leslie Illustrated History of the Civil War. Mine is a first edition from 1894. You have a softcover portion of my book which I believe was broken down into smaller portions to make a set. You have book # 19 of the set. My book is not in good condition but there are 575 pages of portraits, drawings and explanations of the Civil War. That is why you feel there is more.” Comments from trvl2eur
